How to Submit & Launch on WordPress Plugin Directory
- Ensure your landing page is polished, mobile-friendly, and loads quickly before submitting.
- Prepare a sharp value proposition within the 75-character limit.
- Add attribution parameters (e.g. ?ref=wordpress-plugin-directory) to track exact visitor referrals in your analytics.
WordPress Plugin Directory vs Hauntboard
Unlike WordPress Plugin Directory (100% Free (requires GPL-compatible PHP wrapper); Dofollow link), Hauntboard gives every approved launch a 7-day weekly board slot, verified public page views and outbound clicks, and a dofollow link ($0 with badge or $19 Launch Now with no badge).
Free Hauntboard listings show the Hauntboard badge on your site; while the badge isn't there, the link is nofollow.
Outbound clicks and visitor analytics are private to the platform.
Dofollow backlink from a DR 96+ domain.
Specialized directory competition within the open-source cms plugin repo category.
