How we count
- A visit is someone leaving our page for the maker's site. Links are direct, with no redirect.
- Each browser counts once per launch per day, for views and for visits.
- A visitor is one browser on Hauntboard on one day, whatever pages it opens. Visiting a maker's site isn't needed to count.
- Neither is a count of unique people over time. Someone who comes back the next day counts again, and so does each launch they visit. We can't tell them apart, on purpose: nothing links a browser from one day to the next. The same goes for one person on two devices.
- Known bots and crawlers are dropped before anything is stored.
- Nothing is rounded up. If a number looks small, it is small.
