Welcome to Hauntboard (https://hauntboard.com). By accessing our website, submitting an application for review, voting, or purchasing launch placement, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Product Submission & Review Standards

To maintain a high-quality directory and protect our domain authority, all submissions must pass human review before appearing on the public board:

• Working Software: The product must load, have an active domain, and function as described. Incomplete placeholder templates or broken domains will be rejected.
• Required Founder Note: Makers must provide a genuine 3-sentence note explaining who the tool is for and what problem it solves. AI-generated generic spam is rejected.
• Prohibited Content: We strictly prohibit malware, phishing, adult content, gambling, deceptive cryptocurrency get-rich schemes, and illegal services.
• Resubmission: If your listing is rejected with feedback, you are granted one opportunity to update and resubmit your product.

2. Pricing, Placements & Refunds

Hauntboard offers three listing tiers:

• Free ($0): Scheduled for the next available open week (capped at 30 free slots/week). Requires embedding the Hauntboard verification badge on your site.
• Launch Now ($19): Expedited human review within 24 hours, ability to pick any cohort week, and no badge required.
• Spotlight ($49): Everything in Launch Now, plus top-row pinned placement for the full week and a feature in our weekly X thread (capped at 4 per week).

Important: Paid placements buy priority review, scheduled timing, and visual placement. Payment never guarantees votes, a leaderboard rank, or any number of visitors or clicks. If a paid listing is rejected during review and cannot be approved, a full refund will be issued.

3. Dofollow Backlink & Badge Policy

Every approved listing receives a direct dofollow link on its product page. Money buys timing and placement, never the link.

• Free-tier listings must display the Hauntboard badge on their website. We check for it at approval and again later. If the badge is removed, the product link switches torel="nofollow" until the badge is back.
• Paid listings (Launch Now and Spotlight) retain permanent dofollow links without requiring a badge.

4. Community Integrity & Anti-Fraud Rules

We take leaderboard and voting fairness seriously:

• Makers may not vote for their own products.
• Each registered user is entitled to one vote per product.
• Votes from new accounts (under 7 days old) are weighted at 0.5 to prevent automated vote stuffing.
• Coordinated, paid or proxy voting is not allowed. We review suspicious voting and may disqualify listings involved.

5. Intellectual Property

Makers retain full ownership of their software, trademarks, logos, and screenshots. By submitting your tool to Hauntboard, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your submitted media on our website, shareable launch cards, and our social posts.

6. Limitation of Liability

Hauntboard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or specific commercial outcomes from your launch.
